When is hunting possible?
The shooting seasons differ from game to game. Some may be shot all year round; others only at limited seasons. You will find the individual hunting period this page.
What game may the guest go for?
Capercaillie, black cock, roe buck, red stag, chamois, mouflon, Alpine ibex, wild boar.
Marmot can be hunt on some areas in combination with chamois or Ibex.
From time to time I offer specials in neighbor countries like Czchechia, Hungary, Slovenia or Switzerland!
What is the best season?
In our hunting areas there is always a good chance to harvest the required trophy during the official hunting season of the relevant game.
The rut season presents mostly a spectacular event and is for sure the best time to hunt on the appropriate trophy.
What equipment to bring?
Depending on season:

- Mid-layer
- 2 pair of trousers

We can provide you with excellent rifles of all common calibers with scopes on very well known brands!
Which shooting distances do I have to expect?
From 100 – 250m always depending on area and species!
On which airport will I land?
Vienna / Linz / Salzburg / Innsbruck / Graz / Klagenfurt
We will advise you to the right airport after fixing your hunting trip!
How do I import my rifle?
You only need the firearm certificate of your country. There are generally no problems; however, check with your airline in advance about its firearm transport policies. We are ready to assist you.
What are the distances from the airports to the lodges?
Depending on the concerned lodge, we keep it as short as possible. You will have all information during the booking process and we recommend you with final destination in case of arrival by flight.
Should I rent a car?
During the booking process we will figure out with you the best option. When your family like to travel with you we recommend rental car, because of more comfort for the family in traveling around.
What about the preparation of the trophies?
Cleaning, boiling and treat with peroxide is included in the daily rate. Excellent taxidermists are available for extra charge. He will fix the trophy after your advice. He will do also the handling for the veterinary papers.
How is my trophy shipped?
Smaller single trophies get shipped in solid Box added with all necessary papers! More, bigger or full mount trophies will be packed from a specialist company which will organize the transport too. You will be involved in the process.
Are there entertainment programs for the non-hunting company?
There are programs: Sports, culture and sightseeing. We will take care of this point, when you like to travel with family.

Is there a cancelation insurance?
We highly recommend to use a cancellation insurance such as is: European Travel insurance or International Travel Insurance. This are just recommendations, please feel free in using a insurance company.
